Songkran in Chiang Mai 2011

Here in Thailand they Celebrate New Year on the 13th and 14th of April. Songkran is a Festival where they get Carried away with Water and generally go Crazy! You can see a Detailed Explanation of it here:

Anyway Kids Love it while Most Adult Foreigners Hate it!!! In an Effort to keep them as Safe as Possible while they Play I set up a Security Barrier in Our Driveway with a couple of Display Tents for cover

Our Kids were Joined by others who live Locally and here are a couple of Photos of them I just took now!

As You can see Huge Water Pistols are the Weapon of Choice!!!

Tomorrow We are Putting on a Barbecue and Party for Our Staff to Celebrate as well! Everyone has been having a Fun Time as Usual! Keep Safe!
